Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research celebrated World Health Day on 07 April 2025 on the theme ‘Healthy Blessings, Hopeful Futures.’ The event was organized to promote health awareness and highlight the importance of healthcare in our lives.
The program was hosted by UMCAR student Ms Aslesha, who anchored the event with basic introduction. She welcomed the guests, students and faculty members setting the tone for the celebration.
The event featured speeches from the students including Ms Sunanda, Gaurav Pal and Ritesh. They delivered brief presentations on the World Health Organization (WHO), current health statistics and challenges. Their talks provided valuable insights into the global health scenario and role of WHO in promoting healthcare.
Vaibhav student of batch 2024-25 took the pledge to promote health awareness. The highlight of the program was a short video that showcased the importance of healthcare and the impact of healthy habits on our lives.
The entire event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Amit Bhatt, Director UMCAR and Dr Ravi Joshi, Principal UMCAR.
All faculty members including Dr Vibhooti Chandrakar, Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Vidya Rani Joshi, Dr Savita Pawar, Dr Nandini Mishra, Dr Shivangi, Dr Preeti, Dr Richa Bhatt, Dr Deepak Prasad Raturi etc along with all the students of the BAMS Batch 2024-25, attended the program.
