Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research hosted the third Preventive and Promotive Ayurveda Health Campaign and Awareness Program lecture at Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences on 31 August 2024. The program was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS, who emphasized the importance of Ayurveda in maintaining health and wellbeing.
Dr Ravi Joshi, Medical Superintendent and Principal UMCAR delivered a presentation on the importance of Ayurveda, highlighting its stic approach to health and wellness. He explained the concept of Tridoshas and how they influence individual characteristics and health. He also elaborated on Panchakarma and its benefits. Additionally, he showcased the various facilities available at Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre.
The Program was attended by faculty members from both Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences and UMCAR including Dr Sameer Dev Sharma HoD, USCS, Mr Harshit Gupta, Assistant Professor, Dr Sonali, Dr Richa, Mr Madhav etc.
