Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research in association with Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Uttaranchal University, Premnagar Dehradun organized a free Suvarnaprashan Camp on 31 May 2025, at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Panditwari, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The Suvarnaprashan Camp was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Komal Dhiman (Child Specialist), aiming to promote the health and immunity of children through the traditional Ayurvedic practice of Suvarnaprashan on Pushya Nakshatra.
Children were benefitted from this initiative, receiving Suvarnaprashan drops administered by Dr. Komal Dhiman. She highlighted that regular administration of Suvarnaprashan can help in boosting resistance to infections, improving concentration, and supporting holistic growth in children. The Camp not only provided the immune drops but also served as an awareness session for parents to understand the preventive and promotive aspects of Ayurveda in child healthcare.
The camp was successfully conducted under the supervision of Dr Amit Bhatt, Director, UMCAR and Dr Ravi Joshi, Principal, UMCAR.
