Blood Donation Camp

Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre in collaboration with National Cadet Corps (NCC) and Government Doon Hospital organized a blood donation camp on 6 July 2024. The event aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and address the shortage of blood supply in the region.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response with more than 50 NCC Cadets who came forward to donate blood, along with UHDC and Uttaranchal University staff. The NCC cadets, not only donated blood but also coordinated the entire program under the guidance of Col P K Pandey and Subedar Major Rajinder Kumar.

The Government Doon Hospital team, led by Dr Anjum Nishan and Dr Aradhya provided medical supervision and support to ensure the safe collection of the blood samples.

UHDC team, was led by Dr Amit Bhatt and Dr Ravi Joshi along with their staff including Dr Rupali, Dr Sonali, Dr Satwinder, Dr Richa, Mr Chandra Mohan, Mr Madhav, Mr Priyansh who worked actively to ensure the smooth functioning of the camp.

The success of the event is a testament to the collective efforts of UHDC, NCC and Govt. Doon Hospital, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
