Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre organized a comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) program at Swami Vivekanand Auditorium on 10 August 2024. The program aimed to educate participants on the importance of CPR and equip them with the skills to respond in emergency situations.
The program featured a presentation and demonstration by Dr Satwinder Kaur, EMO, Dr Bushra Aziz, RMO and Dr Gaurav, RMO, UHDC. The doctors provided hands –on training to the attendees covering critical aspects of CPR, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and defibrillator use.
To further enhance the learning experience, videos of CPR procedures and a short skit by UHDC was shown, illustrating real life scenarios and the proper techniques for responding to cardiac emergencies.
The program was attended by students, faculty members and other staff members from the university including Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Uttaranchal University, Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice- President, Prof Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor, Prof Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr Amit Bhatt, Campus Director, Er Rajesh Deorari, Director IQAC, Mr Arun Godiyal, Head CRC and Prof Anil Kumar Dixit, Head HRDC.
