Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research, Premnagar, Dehradun in collaboration with Uttaranchal University celebrated its Annual Day on 1st May 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The celebration witnessed active participation of BAMS students who presented a variety of cultural performances and entertaining activities.
The Annual Day program began with a warm welcome of dignitaries, faculty members, and students, followed by a series of colorful performances. BAMS students showcased their exceptional talents through dance performances, music, drama, and other cultural presentations. The performances reflected the confidence, dedication, and teamwork of the students and created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere throughout the event.
The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Mrs Anuradha Joshi, Vice- Chairperson, Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice- President, Dr Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director, Student Affairs & IT services, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor and Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor, Uttaranchal University.
The program witnessed the active participation of all faculty members, including Dr. Kannu Ohri, Dr.Urvi Dave, Dr. Govind Malik, Dr. Jyoti M Ganer, Dr.Sunita Fonia along with the entire teaching, consultants and non-teaching staff, making the event a collective success.
The entire event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Amit Bhatt, Director UMCAR and Dr. Vibhooti Chandrakar, Principal UMCAR.
