Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research, Premnagar Dehradun in collaboration with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh and in association with Securities and Exchange board of India (SEBI) and Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), successfully organized the Youth Conclave for Health and Financial Well-being on October 30, 2025. The event aimed to foster awareness on two critical aspects of youth development: holistic health and financial literacy.
The ceremony began with the solemn lamp lighting and Dhanvantari Vandana. Guests of honor Prof (Dr.) Dharam Budhi, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Mr. Vir Sahab Singh, General Manager (SEBI), added dignity and significance to the occasion.
Dr. Santosh Kumar, Additional Professor, AIIMS Risikesh provided valuable insights into promoting healthier lifestyles. He emphasized the importance of adopting balanced habits, stress management, and mindfulness in daily life. His expert advice resonated with the young audience, encouraging them to prioritize their health and well-being.
The keynote address was delivered by Shri Suryakant Sharma Sr. Consultant AMFI, who spoke on the importance of making informed financial decisions. He highlighted the significance of financial literacy in achieving long-term goals and securing one’s financial future. His speech was both informative and engaging, leaving a lasting impact on the attendees.
The event was made successful by the participation of esteemed faculty members Prof (Dr.) Rajesh Singh, Director Research and Innovation, Prof (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary, Director UIT ,(Prof) Dr. Vibhooti Chandrakar, Dr. Vidya Rani Joshi, Dr. Nandini, Dr. Savita Pawar etc along with all members of UHDC and UMCAR.
