Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre in association with Hospitality department organized an awareness event on 03 November 2023, focusing on women’s health and hygiene, reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, and mental health. The event aimed to educate and empower women to prioritize their health and make informed decisions.
The event began with a warm welcome by Dr Manish Badoni, Department Head of Hospitality, followed by a series of informative sessions and interactive workshops. An enlightening talk on “WOMEN HEALTH AND HYGIENE” was presented by Dr Satwinder Kaur. She discussed the following points in detail:
Insights into women’s reproductive health and common health issues
Menstrual hygiene practices and debunking myths
Mental health and stress management techniques
Importance of self-care and self-love
Participants engaged in lively discussions, sharing personal experiences and fostering a sense of community and support.
