10th World Ayurvedic Congress and Arogya Expo held at the Parade Ground, Dehradun Uttarakhand from 12 to 15 December 2024 was inaugurated by Shri Pratap Rao Jadhav, Ayush Minister, Govt. of India, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister Uttarakhand, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Ayush Secretary, Govt. of India on the theme of ‘Digital Health- An Ayurveda Perspective’, witnessed a remarkable presence of Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research, Premnagar, Dehradun a premier institution in the field of Ayurveda education and Research. The event was organized by the World Ayurveda Foundation.
The College presence was a major attraction at the conference, drawing visitors from all over the world. Uttaranchal Medical College of Ayurveda and Research showcased the State-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and academic excellence of the institute in WAC 2024.
The Institute participated in various activities in WAC 2024. Dr Amit Bhatt, Director UMCAR chaired a technical session on Ayurveda Ahara on 12 December 2024. Dr Ravi Joshi, Principal participated in Principal’s Conclave held on 14 December 2024 which was organized by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) & Ministry of Ayush in which aims and objectives of NCISM, responsibilities of the organization, Hospital module, Curriculum activities, Rating system, Research parameters were discussed. Dr. Ravi Joshi also gives his inputs in the program.
All faculty members of the college namely Dr Rajeev Kumar, Dr Vibhooti Chandrakar, Dr Vidya Rani Joshi, Dr Savita Pawar, Dr Nandini Mishra, Dr Sonali Purohit, Dr Amir Khan, Dr Richa Bhatt, Dr Rupali Purohit, Dr Mudit Chauhan, Dr Satwinder Kaur, Dr Priyanka, Dr Bushra Aziz, Dr Sandhya, Dr Harshita Joshi, Dr Gaurav Chauhan, Mr Chandra Mohan Singh, Mr Madhav Nautiyal, Mr Priyansh Kaushik participated actively in the event.
